The third and final concert for the 2016 indoor season
by the Karl L. King Municipal Band of Fort Dodge was held on Sunday afternoon,
April 3, 2016. The program began with the performance of the Karl
King March, "The Huntress".

This concert coincided with Iowa Central Community College’s Focus series. This year, the college had chosen the seven Central American countries for its cultural emphasis, and the selections on this program reflect that heritage in music.
Second on the progarm was Karl King's Overture, "Fountain of Youth".

Auditioning this year for the scholarships were these three students.
Pictured at left, Zach Oneal, a tuba player from Adel, and currently a freshman at Iowa Central Community College. At center, Jenna Rezabek a clarinet player from Humboldt, and currently a freshman at Iowa Central Community College. At right is Benjamin Ostrem, a graduate of Montezuma High School, and a euphonium major at Luther College in Decorah.
